Unlike private recruitment agencies, this program is designed for long-term integration, not seasonal labor. You pay nothing. German employers cover all placement and language training costs. Once you arrive, you work toward professional recognition (Anerkennung) and a clear path to permanent residency and citizenship.

The complete process, from initial application to professional recognition, typically takes between 12 and 14 months.

The Triple Win Process: Step by Step

The Triple Win program is straightforward because it's government-managed. Here's what to expect:

  1. Register with DMW: Submit your application through the official DMW portal (SISKOP2MI) during open recruitment rounds, typically twice per year.
  2. Language Training: Once accepted, you begin German language classes (A1 to B1) at no cost. Training centers are available in Manila, Cebu, and other major cities, or online.
  3. Professional Preparation: GIZ provides orientation on the German healthcare system, professional standards, and cultural integration.
  4. Job Matching: ZAV matches you with German hospitals or elderly care facilities based on your preferences and qualifications.
  5. Visa & Deployment: After job interviews, you receive a formal job offer and work visa. GIZ assists with all pre-departure logistics.
  6. Integration & Recognition: Upon arrival, you work as an assistant nurse while completing your professional recognition. GIZ provides an integration advisor throughout your first year.

  • Initial Salary: As an assistant nurse, you can expect an initial salary of approximately €1,800–€2,200 per month, plus comprehensive health insurance and social benefits.
  • Recognized Nurse Salary: Once your qualifications are fully recognized, salaries typically range from €2,800 to €3,500 per month, consistent with standard German nursing pay scales.
  • Integration Support: GIZ provides a dedicated integration advisor to help with administrative tasks, housing, language refinement, and settling in during your first year.
